Marriott International and Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced the strengthening of their strategic partnership on 13 December 2023, which provides members of Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel programme, and KrisFlyer, the SIA Group’s lifestyle rewards programme, with more ways to maximise their benefits. Starting on 13 December 2023, eligible members of the two programmes may receive a status match and take advantage of an accelerated pathway to obtain a higher elite status. Changi Airport is fully reopening Terminal 2 (T2) ahead of schedule to restore four terminals' operations to normal, in time to welcome Indonesian traveler who chooses Singapore as their year-end vacation destination. T2 offers new experiences and facilities, bringing together a modern terminal inspired by nature with immersive digital experiences and innovative technology, including The Wonderfall and Dreamscape.  The T2 expansion project has increased Changi's annual passenger capacity by five million passengers per annum (mppa), reaching a total of 90mppa. Marriott International, Inc. has announced the signing of agreements to open three new luxury resorts in Vietnam. The signings mark the expected debut of two new brands into Vietnam – Ritz-Carlton Reserve and The Luxury Collection on the tropical paradise of Hon Thom Island in Phu Quoc.
