A Luxurious Holiday Home in The Heart of Bangkok.

We were moved instantly into a holiday mood just as soon as we stepped into the lobby of the Maduzi Hotel. This small luxury hotel offers the ultimate in privacy and tailor-made services.

The architectural design of this hotel has a contemporary external appeal about it while displaying an attractive artistic approach to its internal perspectives. An elegant gate, adding an extra sense of privacy and security to the building, guards access to the property. Maduzi Hotel’s policy is to only accept guests with reservations so that their exclusive needs can be prepared for in the motst efficient way. This policy delivers a far better individual approach to their geusts. This is what is so special about this hotel; both business and leisure travellers alike get special attention to all their wants and needs.

The hotel lobby resembles more of a cosy living room than an expansive marble entrance. Here guests can conduct casual business meetings over brunch or relax quietly between holiday activities with a book. Across from the lobby is a bar and restaurant, both decorated in homely style to give the impression of personal space.

Situated at the Sukhumvit-Asoke intersection, Maduzi Hotel Bangkok, a member of ‘Secret Retreats, a collection of a small hidden gems across Asia’ is a seven-storey hotel featuring 40 rooms. Each level is designated with the progressive letters M – A – D – U – Z – I.

We stayed on level D or the 4th floor in a spacious 53 square metre semi studio room with a 2.4 metre king size bed. Our room was decorated in a stylish Thai theme and provided good city views. Facilities in the rooms include extra large size bathrooms with a Jacuzzi, an easy to use espresso machine, 42-inch LCD TV, CD/DVD player and a Bose sound system. Other complimentary services include Wi-Fi access, standard mini bar, coffee/tea facilities in the lounge, a daily cocktail hour, the use of meeting rooms and early check-in/late check-out subject to availability.

The hotel also provides working space for business guests and it is sited close to the business area of Bangkok.

Maduzi Restaurant by Yuya, is highly recommended while staying in Maduzi. It is the only French fine dining restaurant in Bangkok with a Japanese chef. We decided to have the four-course lunch that we savoured in a privately intimate ambience.

We had such a wonderful time staying in this uniquely personalised environment that we didn’t even notice the absence of a swimming pool. Maduzi Hotel Bangkok has succeeded in delivering so much more than the one or two extra the attributes normally expected in a 5 Star establishment. Anything missing was well and truly compensated for by the spacious luxury of our accommodation and the detailed attention we received regarding all our requirements by a caring staff. All this together with Maduzi Hotel Bangkok’s proximity to shopping and business districts explains the reason why returning guests regard this hotel as a second home.
