Relaunch of Kemiri Restaurant

Starting this year, the COMO Uma Ubud proudly relaunches the Kemiri Restaurant. Serving breakfast and dinner every day, the restaurant is open for both hotel guests and Ubud visitors who are looking for a new way to spend their mornings and evenings savouring delightful dishes in a contemporary Balinese ambience.

Kemiri, which is Indonesian for ‘candlenut,’ was first opened in 2004 serving all-day dining. Despite Kemiri’s success, particularly with busy evenings, in 2013 the management had to limit the opening hours serving only daily breakfasts, due to the opening of the hotel’s new restaurant, the Uma Cucina. Now, after five years, Kemiri is re-opening its doors for dinner in response to the demands of its loyal patrons who wish to once again enjoy memorable dining at Kemiri. The menu  features a range of inspiring creations prepared by Executive Chef Dewa Artana using cooking techniques drawn from traditional Asian and Indonesian cuisine. Kemiri is a contemporary eatery infusing unique fragrances and balanced flavours from locally sourced Asian ingredients and spices to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience. On Wednesday evenings, Kemiri serves a Balinese Inspired menu accompanied by traditional Balinese dance performances with a rich selection of Balinese cuisine including smoked duck, wok-fried squid and sweet cassava cakes
