Conveniently situated on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, between Kuala Terengganu in the North and Kuantan in the South, Tanjong Jara Resort is a quaint 99-room resort with authentic taste, rooting on the region’s timeless spirit. The resort’s compound is composed by local timbers and rich fabrics, inspired by the 17th era of Malay’s Royal Palaces and based on ‘Sucimurni’, an ancient Malay concept with emphasizes on the purity of one’s spirit, health and well being.

Tanjong Jara Resort is accessible by road from all major cities within Peninsular Malaysia, approximately a mile away from the expressway and just over an hour’s drive from Kuala Terengganu Airport. You may continue your journey from the airport to the Resort via private
car transfers.

The accommodations at Tanjong Jara Resort are divided into 6 types, namely Anjung Suite, Anjung Room, Serambi Sea View Room, Bumbung Sea View Room, Bumbung Room and Serambi Room. Each room is equipped with high-quality amenities and leisure facilities overlooking the immensely beautiful sceneries of a gleaming South China Sea and landscaped tropical gardens. There are other facilities to enjoy in the resort’s vicinity including two kinds of pools, conference hall, tennis courts, library and a spa. On entering the resort one is welcomed nicely with a glass of ‘Exotic Roselle’; a tasty natural beverage made from fresh hibiscus flower extract.

There are plenty of activities for guests to unravel and discover the beauty of Tanjong Jara Resort’s surrounding. Jara Walk is an interesting thing to do where you can experience the nature through the jungle perimeter of the resort. If you crave for local cuisine, Di Atas Sungei restaurant is a great choice as they offer a unique dining experience. Nelayan, situated by the sea is a wonderful place to relax and savour abundance of Asian and Western light meals.
