Chef Luca Fantin opened his first Il Ristorante at the Bulgari Tokyo in 2009 and is the only Italian chef in Japan to have been awarded a Michelin star; he was named “The Best Italian Chef in the World” by the prestigious
Italian guide Identità Golose. Extremely light and flavourful, his preparations are simultaneously authentic and contemporary, not to mention visually stunning. Edible flowers turn plates into tapestries, finishing them with brilliant colour and an artistic flourish.

Now Chef Luca’s magic has been brought to Bali. Recreating the spirit of the original Il Ristorante in Tokyo, the BVLGARI Bali has opened the second Il Ristorante – Luca Fantin. Established under the creative genius of Luca Fantin himself, the dishes are beautifully crafted, their flavours complemented by the restaurant’s seductive ambience overlooking a reflection pool and enhanced with subtle soft lighting.

Open for dinner only; the 36- seat restaurant features creative interpretations of classic Italian fare using the finest ingredients of the island’s local, organic produce. The menu includes a selection of Chef Luca Fantin’s most famous dishes with new creations redolent of the variety of colours and flavours offered by the generous richness of the island of Bali; samples include the tartare with avocado cream and smoked vegetables, Fassone Beef Tagliata Red garlic and grilled vegetables. To complement their outstanding cuisine,  the restaurant stocks a range of over 200 wines selected from the very finest of both new and old world wines and including an exclusive collection of champagnes.
