A Season of Prosperity: Where to Celebrate Chinese New Year 2026 in Bali

Chinese New Year is a moment to pause, reconnect, and welcome prosperity through meaningful rituals and memorable meals. In Bali, the celebration unfolds through elevated dining experiences, cultural performances, and wellness-inspired traditions, each offering a distinctive way to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse. From lavish festive buffets and refined afternoon teas to holistic spa rituals, these thoughtfully curated hotel experiences blend Lunar heritage with contemporary luxury, creating moments designed to be shared with family and loved ones. Here’s where to celebrate Chinese New Year 2026 in style.

A Harmonious Lunar Season at Jumeirah Bali

Jumeirah Bali welcomes the Year of the Horse with A Harmonious Lunar Season, a thoughtfully curated celebration centred on balance, renewal, and shared traditions. From 16 to 18 February 2026, the resort presents a curated series of experiences that reflect balance and warmth as the new year begins.

Lunar New Year’s Eve is celebrated at Segaran Dining Terrace with Harmony of Flavours, featuring a festive buffet dinner and the traditional Yee Sang ritual on 16 February 2026 to welcome the Year of the Horse. The celebration continues on 17 February with a traditional lion dance in the morning, while Lunar inspired dining experiences are offered throughout 17 and 18 February, including a festive breakfast corner followed by lunch and dinner menus presenting Lunar inspired à la carte dishes alongside seafood platters.

At Talise Spa, Harmony of Balance and Clarity is a Lunar New Year wellness ritual rooted in Eastern philosophy. Centered on Balinese acupressure massage and complemented by an express facial or body scrub, the 120-minute experience invites balance, clarity, and energetic alignment as the new year begins.

As part of the celebration, Jumeirah also unveils a cultural collaboration with Chinese paper artist Jackie Wen, known for translating traditional paper cut artistry into contemporary visual storytelling. The collaboration features an exclusive collection of Lunar red envelopes and gift boxes, available at selected Jumeirah destinations including Jumeirah Bali.
