The wordkayonresort_30_nextstay Kayon means The Tree of Life, the mystical concept that connects all forms of creation and represents the interconnectedness of all life on our beautiful planet, and this is the concept that inspired both its architectural and interior design. The resort decor features the ancient Hindu epic drama of Ramayana expressed through paintings and carvings, the central plot of the epic is the love story of Rama & Shinta which is captured in a stone relief carved along an entire 50 meter section of wall.
The resort features six valley deluxe rooms with jungle views in the two storey northern wing, twelve Kayon
river suites in the three floor southern wing with views down to the river and five river edge private pool villas each enhanced by its own infinity edge pool overlooking the river below.
Kayon offers an array of services, tours and activities to help you make the most of your visit. The Kepitu Restaurant is set in the epicentre of the resort with 180-degree views out over the pool to the jungle of the valley beyond. The menu selection is comprehensive, there are salads and sandwiches for a light meal while the main menu offers a mix of Western and Asian cuisine and, for something a little more special, the Balinese Royal setting and a weekly
cultural diner program. The resort’s Canyon Jetty hanging along the riverside is an ideal setting to slow down, relax and take a light lunch or afternoon tea surrounded by stone cliffs to the soothing sound of a trickling waterfall. You can start the day with yoga in the roof top yoga pavilion or a treatment in the Serayu Spa perched on a high cliff above the river.
