SIA Group Marks Singapore’s SG60 Celebrations With Fare Promotions and Special Offers
The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group will commemorate Singapore’s 60th year of independence with a series of SG60-themed initiatives from April to December 2025, as part of its Celebrating with Singapore campaign.
Customers can enjoy special SG60 fare deals for both Singapore Airlines and Scoot flights, bonus mile accrual on Scoot, and additional discounts during KrisFlyer’s upcoming Spontaneous Escapes promotions. There will also be SG60-exclusive deals on Kris+, KrisShop, and Pelago. KrisWorld, SIA’s in-flight entertainment system, will feature a Celebrating Singapore category showcasing content on Singapore’s rich history, vibrant arts, and diverse culture. The airline will also highlight iconic local cuisine on select flights and in SilverKris lounges.
The SIA Group also aims to raise $1.3 million through an SG60 fundraising campaign by engaging its partners and staff in doing good together. The Group will match the amount raised, donating a total of $2.6 million to AWWA and Rainbow Centre—two Singapore-based organizations supporting children and youth with disabilities and developmental needs.
SIA Cares Open House: A Behind-the-Scenes Experience
In July, SIA will host a special two-day edition of its SIA Cares Open House, welcoming over 600 beneficiaries—including individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, at-risk youth, and persons with disabilities—for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the SIA Training Centre.
Special SG60 Fare Deals for Singapore Airlines and Scoot
Singapore Airlines will offer exclusive SG60 fare deals between Singapore and 77 destinations from 11 to 24 April 2025, for travel between 12 April and 19 November 2025. Bookings can be made via SIA’s website, mobile app, or authorized travel agents.
Customers booking during this period stand a chance to win a pair of Business Class round-trip tickets to Seoul, along with hotel accommodation and $600 worth of Pelago vouchers in a lucky draw. Details will be available on SIA’s website on 11 April 2025.
Scoot, the low-cost arm of the SIA Group, will offer its SG60 fare deals between 8 and 17 April 2025 to 60 destinations, valid for travel from 14 April to 25 October 2025. Bookings can be made through Scoot’s official platforms. More details will be released on Scoot’s website on 8 April.
Scoot’s popular Gotta Scoot Tuesday deals in May will be extended to 60 hours, and a 60-hour flash sale is also planned for June 2025. Stay tuned to Scoot’s social media for updates.
KrisFlyer members will enjoy additional discounts for August’s Spontaneous Escapes promotions during a 60-hour flash deal, from 1200hrs on 15th August to 1159hrs on 17th August 2025, for travel on SIA flights between 1st September and 30th September 2025. KrisFlyer members will also receive 60% more bonus miles when booking Scoot flights during this period. Details will be available on KrisFlyer’s social media channels, the KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes website, and Scoot’s communication channels in August 2025.
Classic Singaporean In-Flight Dishes
From 1 July to 30 September 2025, SIA will serve several classic Singapore hawker dishes on selected flights departing from Singapore.
Suites, First Class, and Business Class customers may select mains such as fried carrot cake, roti prata (fried Indian-style flat bread) with fish curry, and dry Bak Chor Mee (minced pork noodles) that are currently available only on SIA’s Popular Local Fare and Book the Cook service, as well as a Singaporean dessert, from the SG60 menu.
During August and September 2025, passengers in Premium Economy and Economy Class will also get a taste of Singapore with a special main dish and dessert option on select routes.
Additionally, SilverKris lounges at Changi Airport Terminals 2 and 3 will showcase new hawker-style offerings throughout August.
