This new chapter begins with Epicurean Encounters, a one-day gastronomic showcase held on Friday, 4 July 2025, at The Dining Room, Level 12, presenting the signature creations of the hotel’s remarkable Food & Beverage team.

More than a relaunch, Epicurean Encounters is a celebration of the people behind every dish. Raffles Jakarta honours its culinary team through a renewed vision rooted in creativity, consistency, and collaboration—qualities that shape not only the food, but the experience and intention behind it.
Leading this dynamic team is Lucas David Curcio Pérez, Head of Operations, F&B, and Culinary. With over 15 years of global experience across Argentina, Colombia, Spain, the United States, and Indonesia, Lucas brings a forward-thinking mindset and a passion for storytelling through food. His leadership signals a refined yet heartfelt approach to delivering experiences that are meaningful, memorable, and rooted in place.

Alongside him is Chef Muhammad Maliki, Raffles Jakarta’s newly appointed Executive Chef. A part of the Raffles family since 2014, Chef Maliki’s journey from pre-opening team member to becoming the first Indonesian Executive Chef of the hotel is a reflection of his passion and perseverance. With a deep respect for Indonesian culinary traditions and a talent for modern interpretation, he brings a sense of soul and sincerity to every plate.
Rounding out this remarkable team are: Chef Putra Anom, Executive Pastry Chef, whose artistry lies in translating Indonesian nostalgia into refined desserts with a French touch; and Chef Theo Setyo, Executive Sous Chef, whose cultural insight and versatile craftsmanship continue to shape the evolving narrative of Raffles Jakarta’s cuisine.
