Impressive was the first word to describe the beautiful neo colonial architecture as I arrived at the hotel’s entrance. The foyer convinced me that my stay here at Hotel de l’Opera would be spent surrounded by luxury, tasteful design and an artistic infusion of Bygone French era.

As a member of the MGallery Collection, Hotel de l’Opera has been a favourite amongst travellers because of its strategic location in downtown Hanoi – just
walking distance to some of the city’s major attractions. These include the
Hanoi Opera, Trang Tien Plaza, Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre.

Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi features 107 meticulously-designed guestrooms comprising of deluxe, grand deluxe, suite and grand suite, each has lavish quality amenities and timber floors to compliment the finest Asian textiles and silks that contri-
bute to a room’s vibrant colour pallet.

There are several lavish gastronomic ve-
nues at Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi. Café Lautrec offers`a la carte and buffet dining throughout the day, Satine serves classic Vietnamese cuisine with many local favourites, and the exclusive La Fee Verte (or the “Green Fairy”) a hotel bar with a visual twist of bygone decadence provides a wide selection of aged spirits, extensive cocktails and imported wines.

No modern hotel today is without a meeting facility and Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi presents four rooms mimicking elegant French salons with exclusive and flexible tailor-made services to facilitate small-to-medium size conferences, product launches and private events. Other facilities on offered are an indoor swimming pool with open-air terrace, gym, sauna and a business centre.

Overall I was delighted with my stay at Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi as it presents the true attributes of a luxury boutique hotel.
