This comes as no surprise, the ever-increasing popularity of Sunday Brunch on the island has inspired Sundara to create a different kind of brunch. Occupying much of the southern sweep of the bay, guests can savour un- limited tapas-style plates for six hours surrounded by beautiful beachfront views, a wonderful way to enjoy a relaxing Sunday.
Sundara’s Sunday Brunch is a wonderful experience full of exciting textures and flavours that delight and surprise the palate. The menu consists of Entrees to Share, Hot Sharing Style, and Dessert Creations. Some of the dishes we whole-heartedly recommend are the Black Angus Beef Tataki with ponzu sauce, daikon and sesame; Pâté en Croûte with pork, pistachio, foie gras and mango chutney; Tea Smoked Duck Breast with raspberry, beetroot, pistachio and jus gras; Miso Cod with mushroom escabeche, and Penang laksa; Squid “Carbonara” with fresh squid thinly-sliced, cream, bacon, and parmesan (no pasta); Dadar Kopi coffee-in-fused ganache, crispy roll, coffee and ice cream; and the Red Berry Frangipane Crumble Pie with pistachio ice cream. The wonderful desserts are creations of Executive Pastry Chef Yusuke Aoki, a winner of the World Champion crown at the Valrhona Chocolate Chef Competition. Your sweet tooth will certainly be titillated here.
A good reason to linger over your lunch is the free access to the 57-metre pool so you can refresh yourself between courses and live music on the open-air terrace will entertain your Sunday afternoon.
It is hardly surprising that Sundara has become an attractive destination for the island’s brunch connoisseurs.
