The Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards Foundation (ITTA) has crowned Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Resort as the winner of the Leading Design Hotel category. There were 47,504 participants from over 23 different countries competing in 40 different categories during a month-long voting process. For the past 6 years the ITTA has been hosting these awards to celebrate and recognize outstanding brands within the hospitality industry so showcasing exemplary practices. Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua is a 5-star hotel with a design inspired by Balinese and French craftsmanship of detailed artistry. The result has been the harmonization of modern French flair and authentic Balinese elements. The architecture and interior design is a result of collaboration between the internationally acclaimed design firm WATG and Wilson Associates. One of the architectural highlights is The Grand Gamelan Ballroom. Here sheer opulence and breathtaking grandeur flow through 450 square meters floor space under a soaring ceiling. The ballroom has a guest capacity of 420.
