Katong is a neighbourhood in the Eastern Central area of Singapore, and from the late 9th to the mid 20th century the wealthy elites who made their fortunes in the seaside resorts, villas and mansions along the beachfront. There are art murals in each room depicting the laid-back, communal lifestyle of the neighbourhood, and a pop-up ‘mama stall’, an upscale retail corner artisans’ crafts in the hotel’s pavilion. The ‘mama stall’ is reminiscent of the small convenience stalls often positioned in the housing estates of the 1960s.

The restaurant is at level 1, next to main entrance of the hotel offering a welcoming and relaxing environment for the guests.
