Jumeirah Bali introduces Mantra, an exclusive addition to its culinary offerings, redefining private dining in Uluwatu. Set within the underground space of AKASA Restaurant & Bar, Mantra presents a journey of elegance, craftsmanship, and sensory exploration.

The name Mantra draws inspiration from the ancient Sanskrit word meaning a sacred expression of intent, quiet, powerful, and purposeful. At Jumeirah Bali, Mantra becomes a modern interpretation of that philosophy: a place where thoughtful design, refined flavours, and meaningful connection come together in harmony.

Tucked beneath the natural contours of the cliffside, Mantra offers an immersive dining experience that blends storytelling, craftsmanship, and discovery. The journey begins with a glass elevator descent into a secluded setting where the raw textures of the hillside remain preserved – creating an atmosphere that is both grounding and elegant.

Curated by Sommelier Suyanto, the wine programme features a selection of distinguished labels, each carefully paired with a tasting menu by Chef Joan Achour, the Head Chef at AKASA Restaurant & Bar. The cuisine reflects French flavours with local touch, showcasing seasonal ingredients and flavour profiles that honour both heritage and creativity.

Guests are invited to personalise their evening through a curated menu consultation with the chef, selecting between a four-course dinner starting from IDR 3,950,000++ per person or a six-course dinner starting from IDR 4,650,000++ per person. Each experience includes a curated wine pairing featuring selected premium wine labels, a welcome drink with hors d’oeuvres on arrival, and attentive service from a dedicated sommelier and service team throughout the evening.

Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance, with Mantra welcoming guests from 5.00 PM to 11.00 PM. The experience is ideal for private celebrations, romantic evenings, and intimate group gatherings.

Mantra is comprised of three distinct yet interconnected spaces. At its core is Mantra, Uluwatu’s premier destination for exclusive private dining, offering a refined and intimate atmosphere beneath the cliffside. Complementing this is the Mantra Pavilion, an outdoor setting for elegant and intimate celebrations that has been operating since the launch of AKASA. The Mantra Wine Cellar is a sanctuary for wine connoisseurs and curated tastings, set to launch in the coming months. The launch of Mantra marks the first official unveiling of this experiential trilogy, offering guests a refined and immersive destination for private dining in Uluwatu.
