CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN STYLE AT PALACE HOTEL TOKYO

As Tokyo lights up for the festive season, Palace Hotel Tokyo invites travellers to celebrate Christmas with A Tokyo Christmas, an exclusive two-night escape combining luxurious accommodation, seasonal treats and memorable experiences in the heart of Japan’s vibrant capital.
Available for stays from 1 to 26 December 2026, the festive package brings the warmth and charm of Christmas into the comfort of the hotel’s elegant rooms and suites. Guests can choose from a Grand Deluxe Room, Executive Suite or Premier Suite, with a beautifully decorated 5.9-foot artificial Christmas tree adding a festive touch to their accommodation. A bottle of Dom Pérignon Champagne, Christmas cookies and a handcrafted holiday cake complete the celebration, alongside daily breakfast.
Beyond the hotel, Tokyo comes alive with spectacular illuminations, transforming its bustling streets into enchanting displays of light. For a more personalised experience, the hotel’s concierge can arrange a private chauffeured tour through some of the city’s most captivating neighbourhoods, including the tree-lined Marunouchi Naka Dori, fashionable Omotesando and lively Shibuya. The itinerary can also include visits to Tokyo’s Christmas markets, from the traditional German-inspired market in Roppongi to festive celebrations at Meiji Jingu Gaien and Azabudai Hills.
The festive atmosphere continues inside Palace Hotel Tokyo, where a magnificent 16-foot Christmas tree takes centre stage in the grand lobby. Elegant seasonal decorations create a welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel, offering a peaceful retreat from the excitement of the city.
Dining is another highlight of the season, with the hotel’s restaurants presenting a selection of festive experiences. At Grand Kitchen, guests can enjoy seasonal flavours in a sophisticated yet inviting setting, complete with a striking fireplace and an award-winning wine list featuring more than 550 selections. For Michelin-starred dining, Esterre by Alain Ducasse serves contemporary French cuisine inspired by Japan’s natural flavours, while Wadakura, GO and Tatsumi offer traditional Japanese dining experiences through kaiseki, teppanyaki and tempura, respectively.
Christmas-themed lunch and dinner menus will be served up December 19-25, with blue lobster, wagyu filet and foie gras Rossini taking center stage at Esterre; matsuba, kobako and king crabs headlining Wadakura’s offerings; and traditional roast beef, seared scallop and an ice-cream-style Bûche de Noël featuring on Grand Kitchen’s family-friendly menu.
Travelers expecting to miss out on their favorite European-style Christmas breads and cakes while in Japan may be surprised to discover an array of home-baked stollen, kouglof, berawecka and panettone at Sweets & Deli, the hotel’s pastry shop. Some feature uniquely Japanese twists, such as the Bohnen Stollenmade with yuzu-flavored marzipan and kinako (soybean flour) and Kouglof de Noël baked with sweet chestnuts kneaded into a matcha dough and finished with a raspberry chocolate glaze. Also on offer are the much sought-after Christmas cakes, exquisitely handcrafted by the pastry team every holiday season and available in limited quantities by advance order.
The A Tokyo Christmas package starts from JPY 316,000 for a two-night stay based on double occupancy and is available from 1 to 26 December 2026, with the latest check-in on 24 December. Rates include consumption tax but exclude accommodation tax and service charge. Reservations must be requested at least seven days before arrival and are subject to availability. Suite guests also enjoy access to the hotel’s Club Lounge, where children under 13 are not permitted after 5.30 pm.
