RENAISSANCE HOTELS ENHANCES EVENINGS ACROSS ASIA PACIFIC WITH NEW BEVERAGE RITUALS COLLECTION

Renaissance Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of over 30 extraordinary hotel brands is set to unveil a reimagined chapter of Evenings at Renaissance across Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC), introducing a new collection of beverage rituals inspired by local ingredients, cultural traditions and creative collaborations. Developed with award-winning Indonesian bartender Demitria “Demi” Dana Paramita, the collection transforms familiar flavors and traditions into distinctive expressions of each destination’s character.

The collection will debut during Renaissance Day of Discovery 2026, the brand’s annual celebration of cultural curiosity and neighborhood exploration. Taking place across participating Renaissance Hotels in APEC throughout October and November, this year’s theme “Layers of Discovery” invites guests explore each destination through Navigator-led discoveries, encounters with local makers and immersive experiences that celebrate the neighborhood’s creative spirit. The new beverage rituals add another layer to this exploration, drawing inspiration from local markets, botanicals and cultural traditions.

Discovering the Neighborhood Through Flavor

Punch – Blooming Flower & The Silk Road

Evenings at Renaissance invites guests to explore the neighborhood after dark through experiences inspired by the people, places and cultural touchpoints that shape each destination. At the centre of the experience are beverage rituals that mark the transition from day to evening, creating opportunities for connection, discovery and a deeper sense of place.

To help shape the new collection, Renaissance Hotels has partnered with its first Beverage Rituals Ambassador, Demitria “Demi” Dana Paramita, the award-winning founder of HATS Bar Jakarta. Drawing on her Sumatran heritage and experience across Southeast Asia’s bar scene, Demi helped develop a collection that transforms familiar ingredients and local traditions into unexpected discoveries. Highlights include Blooming Flower, an interactive floral punch centered around a shared citrus jelly ritual; The Night Market, a vibrant serve featuring pandan, calamansi and tamarind inspired by the energy of neighborhoods after dark; and Silk Road, an aromatic blend of tea, saffron and spice that celebrates the exchange of flavors and traditions across cultures.

Beyond Renaissance Day of Discovery, participating hotels will continue serving selections from the collection as part of the ongoing Evenings at Renaissance experience. Guests may encounter rituals such as the fruit-forward Tropical Silk, layered with passion fruit, lychee and tea, or Remedy, inspired by traditional recipes of comfort and care and balanced around house-made fruit preserves that reflect local tastes and traditions.

Layers of Discovery Across the Region

At Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, Renaissance Day of Discovery will take place from October 31 – November 1, inviting guests to experience Bali through its makers, neighborhood stories and flavors. Navigator-led discoveries, workshops with local artisans and a Punch Bowl Masterclass led by Demi will offer different perspectives on the island’s culture and craft, while Punch Bowl Rituals, live music and a traditional gamelan performance set the tone after dark.

Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa

At Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort, Renaissance Day of Discovery returns from October 31 to November 1, inviting guests to explore immersive experiences inspired by local culture and creativity. The celebration begins with “Malam Gemintang”, an evening under the stars featuring local artisans, hands-on workshops, culinary discoveries, signature Punch Bowl cocktails inspired by neighborhood night markets, a cultural performance, and a fashion showcase by designers Neli Gunawan and Yusi Hendrawati. The journey continues on November 1 with Blooming Flower, a special Punch Bowl experience at R Bar.

Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua

At Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre, the celebration will unfold on the weekend of October 31 through art, traditional crafts and Malaysian flavors. Guests can join a screen-printing masterclass with local artist Fritilldea, contribute to a shared artwork and explore Peranakan beadwork. As evening falls, “Malam Lagenda” will bring Malaysia’s folklore and creative spirit to life through local performances and beverage rituals inspired by the sights, scents and flavors of the neighbourhood, drawing on familiar ingredients such as pandan and Chinese five-spice powder to evoke a sense of place.

At Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel, Renaissance Day of Discovery will bring Frame & Reveal on October 31 – November 1 through immersive evening where local stories, flavors and creativity come together in the hotel lobby. Guests will witness the unveiling of the iconic Renaissance “R” Logo Statue, experience the debut of Renaissance’s signature beverage rituals—Full of Red and Silk Road, enjoy a live culinary showcase, and explore six discovery stations featuring local artisans and cultural experiences. Accompanied by live music, the evening captures the spirit of curiosity, connection and neighborhood discovery that defines the Renaissance Hotels experience.

At Renaissance Danang Hoi An Resort & Spa, from  October 31 – November 1, guests are invited to discover Hoi An through its artisans, agricultural traditions and creative community. Silk eco-printing with Gomee Collective, wet-plate portraits with Mot Met Studio and hands-on workshops inspired by the region’s farming heritage offer new perspectives on the destination. The celebration will continue into the evening with local artist Minh’s “Cowcycle” collection, a traditional rice-pounding performance and the signature Silk Road Punch Bowl Ritual, connecting local craft and culture through a shared moment of discovery.

At Renaissance Goa Baga-Arpora Hotel, over the weekend of October 31, guests can  look forward to exploring the destination’s rich Indo-Portuguese heritage through its craft, cuisine and neighborhood traditions. Experiences range from Azulejo tile painting and artisan markets showcasing jewellery, spices and handmade creations to a Navigator-led walk through Fontainhas and dinner in a Portuguese heritage home. As evening unfolds, live pasta making and the Silk Road Punch Bowl Ritual bring together flavors, stories and traditions shaped by centuries of cultural exchange.
