SENTOSA LAUNCHES A MAGICAL ISLAND ADVENTURE WITH DISNEY CRUISE LINE

Sentosa is bringing Disney magic to the island with the launch of A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line, a three-month event created in partnership with Disney Cruise Line. Running daily from 24 June to 20 September 2026, the event transforms different parts of Sentosa into themed experiences inspired by the Disney Adventure cruise ship. Visitors can explore attractions based on the ship’s seven themed areas, featuring popular Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters across the island.

The event is designed for both daytime and evening visits. During the day, families can enjoy interactive installations, themed play areas, and photo spots. After sunset, many locations will light up with colourful displays, giving visitors a different experience at night. For the first time, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia will also stay open until 10pm during the event, allowing guests to enjoy the illuminated displays after dark.

Explore Seven Themed Experiences Across Sentosa
Guests can follow a self-guided discovery trail around the island using an event passport. The trail includes stops at the Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line, Sensoryscape, Central Beach Bazaar, Palawan Beach, The Palawan, and the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia.

Each location is inspired by one of the seven themed areas aboard the Disney Adventure, including Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing. Visitors can collect a special medallion stamp at every stop as they complete their journey around the island.

Sentosa Express
The experience begins even before visitors arrive on the island. From early July, the Sentosa Express monorail will be decorated with Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse. The themed train will welcome guests travelling from VivoCity to Sentosa, giving them a preview of the Disney Cruise Line experience before they arrive on the island.

Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line
The Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line will also join the celebration. All three stations — Sensoryscape, Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Point will feature photo installations with various Disney characters, ensuring the experience begins well before guests step into a cable car cabin. Cable car cabins will be wrapped in designs inspired by Disney Cruise Line themed areas aboard the Disney Adventure, including Toy Story Place and Disney Discovery Reef. 

Townsquare at Sensoryscape

Southernmost Point of Continental Asia
One of Sentosa’s most popular attractions, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, will be transformed with displays inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay, bringing to life Disney and Pixar stories like Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid and Lilo & Stitch. At night, glowing manta ray installations and colourful lighting will illuminate the waters surrounding the Southernmost Point bridge, creating a special after-dark atmosphere. The Wayfinder Bay area also takes inspiration from Disney’s Moana, with compass-themed displays, wayfinding symbols and illuminated pathways.

Guests can also purchase a special night admission ticket, which includes a gamified exploration journey, an activity card for collecting four unique embossed stamps, and a limited-edition Disney Adventure-themed postcard. 

Palawan Beach
Palawan Beach will be the main activity area during the event, featuring installations inspired by San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place and Marvel Landing. Visitors will first be greeted by a 6-metre inflatable anchor installation flanked by sand-blasted figurines of Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, creating one of the event’s main photo spots. 

The San Fransokyo Street section brings the world of Disney’s Big Hero 6 to the beach, highlighted by a 6-metre Baymax inflatable and beachside deck chairs, where visitors can relax and take photos.  A dedicated food and retail precinct sits alongside, bringing together food trucks and retailers within a lively beachside activation space, with offerings refreshed across the three-month event period.

Toy Story Place at Palawan Beach

A short walk away, the shore features larger-than-life bath toys inspired by Toy Story Place with fan-favourite characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Bullseye, alongside bubble inflatables and a Toy Story splash pad-inspired shoreline play area centred around a 3.9-metre shower-head feature, with neon lighting transforming the space after dark.

At The Palawan, guests will be treated to installations that take their cue from Marvel Landing’s attractions like Ironcycle Test Run roller coaster and Groot Galaxy Spin, alongside an Infinity Bar-inspired space that will have visitors delighted at neon-lit cocktail sculptures when the sun sets.

Central Beach Bazaar and Sensoryscape
At Central Beach Bazaar, visitors can see the 3.5-metre Magical Compass installation depicting the Disney Adventure’s seven themed areas that also serve as a storytelling guide across the island.

At Sensoryscape, the entire venue is transformed into a Town Square inspired royal promenade lined with 13 princess themed hammock installations featuring beloved princesses and heroines such as Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Merida, Mulan, Raya, Snow White and more. Lighting shifts from warm, elegant tones to kaleidoscopic colours, creating a different experience after sunset with more than 100 individual light effects.

Within the same space, Tactile Trellis reimagines Disney Imagination Garden through a five-metre topiary installation shaped after the Disney Cruise Line logo, set among manicured greenery and floral displays.

An Island Transformed After Dark
The event is designed to encourage visitors to spend the whole day on Sentosa. While there are activities and installations to enjoy during daylight hours, many attractions take on a different look after sunset with colourful lighting and illuminated displays across the island.

Visitors can also purchase a special collection of Sentosa and Disney Cruise Line merchandise created for the event. Items include customised Sentosa and Disney Cruise Line-themed tumbler, eco bag, towel, and keychain featuring Sentosa and Disney Cruise Line designs.

This three-month summer activation marks the beginning of an evolving annual platform for Sentosa, with future editions to come. Across the event period, select installations will be refreshed and fringe programming introduced, giving guests a reason to return and discover something new with every visit.
